Comtrade SAS-to-G2S Converter Board has been expertly designed and developed as an all-in-one solution to empower regulators with the capability for comprehensive device-level monitoring of Electronic Gaming Machines.
Passive Mode Deployment:
- Data traffic between the EGM and a pre-installed third-party SMIB host is captured utilizing a Y cable configuration. Passive SMIB functions as a listening device only, meticulously relaying relevant captured data to the Monitoring System for processing, enabling meaningful analysis and audit.
Active Mode Deployment
- In Active Mode Deployment the SMIB acts as a SAS host and is connected to the EGM via serial port, both transmitting and receiving SAS messages. This results in a further-enhanced capability and additional possibilities in monitoring individual EGMs.
